About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Millwright / Mechanical Maintenance Technician for its Direct Reduction (DR) plant in Doha. The position covers the installation, alignment, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Millwright or Mechanical Maintenance Technician
- Experience in Direct Reduction (DR) plants, steel or heavy industrial environments preferred
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Required skills
- Installation, alignment, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment
- Rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors and mechanical systems
- Bearing replacement, shaft alignment, lubrication and mechanical troubleshooting
- Reading mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred
