About the role
Tech 9 Initiatives is seeking a Mobile Device Technician to inspect, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and service industrial and rugged mobile communication devices. The role involves hands‑on work with Android‑based equipment used in demanding environments.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain mobile and industrial communication devices.
- Configure, update, reset and test Android devices, applications, firmware and connectivity.
- Perform functional testing to identify hardware or software faults before and after servicing.
- Assist with replacement and testing of components, batteries, accessories and peripherals.
- Prepare, configure and commission rugged devices for demanding operating environments.
- Maintain accurate service, inspection, repair and serial‑number records.
- Coordinate with technical, sales, warehouse and OEM teams on repairs, warranty cases and spare parts.
Required profile
- Technical Diploma, IT/electronics qualification, vocational training or relevant hands‑on experience.
- Proficiency with Android devices and operating systems.
- Experience in mobile‑device troubleshooting, electronics or hardware servicing.
- Valid Qatar ID and driving licence.
Required skills
- Android OS configuration and firmware updates.
- Hardware troubleshooting and component replacement.
- Electronics servicing and diagnostic testing.
