About the role

The Technical Training Apprenticeship Program offers a hands‑on apprenticeship for aspiring aircraft maintenance professionals. As an Apprentice Trainee you will acquire practical experience, technical skills and professional development needed to qualify as maintenance staff, while supporting daily maintenance activities in a safe, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols, operational guidelines and legal requirements under supervision.
• Observe and learn core maintenance tasks such as equipment inspection, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Develop problem‑solving abilities, effective communication and a strong work ethic.
• Adhere to Qatar Airways (QR) policies and procedures.
• Perform additional department duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Minimum IELTS Academic score of 6.0 overall (no component below 6.0) obtained within the last 24 months.
• Completed QCAR or accepted NAA Part 66 training on category B1.1, B2, B1.1 & B2 or A from an approved training organization.
• Age between 18 and 30 years at the time of application.

Required skills

• Aircraft maintenance fundamentals.
• Equipment inspection.
• Troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
• Repair and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of Part 66 certification requirements.
