Munitions Controller

About the role

The Munitions Controller is responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring maintenance of War Reserve Materiel, including live, inert and dummy munitions, as well as related equipment and facilities. This role ensures compliance with performance work statements and quality management systems while supporting both peacetime and combat contingency operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee routine and contingency planning, workload and production scheduling for the Munitions Department.
• Manage awaiting maintenance (AWM), awaiting parts (AWP) and TCTO programs, reviewing them weekly.
• Prepare consolidated maintenance and inspection forecasts and schedules on a yearly, quarterly, monthly and weekly basis.
• Operate Munitions Information Systems (MIS), TICMS and MC2 to track explosives assets and support command‑and‑control actions.
• Coordinate with the Munitions Accountability Section on ADR actions, disposal, and shipment scheduling.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience with military munitions and ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance (US citizenship required).
• Valid home‑country driver’s license and ability to obtain a host‑nation license.
• Physical capability to lift/push/pull at least 50 lb and wear required PPE.
• Ability to work required hours, including stand‑by duties, in both office and warehouse environments.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of USAF Supply, TMO, munitions and Tech Order systems (or equivalent US Service systems).
• Proficiency with TICMS, MC2, and other munitions information systems.
• Strong computer skills: Windows OS and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
