Nanny for Newborn Baby

About the role

A private household in Qatar is looking for a female nanny to care for a newborn baby. The position is full-time, with accommodation provided in the villa and transportation provided by the employer. Candidates should be aged 25 to 45 and have experience as a nanny for infants and newborns.

Key responsibilities

• Infant care: feeding, burping, changing diapers, bathing and basic hygiene
• Safe sleep practices and setting sleep routines
• First aid and safety: CPR and first aid for infants, awareness of hazards and childproofing
• Developmental support: knowing baby milestones and engaging the baby with age-appropriate activities
• Communication with parents and reporting changes in the baby's health or behaviour
• Maintaining daily routines and managing multiple baby-care tasks

Required profile

• Nursing background, preferably paediatric or neonatal nursing
• Hands-on experience caring for newborns and infants
• Infant CPR and first aid certification
• Knowledge of newborn hygiene, infection control and safety, and ability to recognise signs of illness
• Excellent communication and observation skills, patience, compassion and emotional maturity
• Willingness to work varying hours
