NOC Engineer – Infrastructure Support

About the role

This NOC Engineer position covers monitoring, incident handling and basic infrastructure support in Qatar. The role involves shift-based operations and on-call support.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage system, server and network alerts using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for infrastructure incidents and service requests, with initial troubleshooting, diagnosis and escalation.
• Execute and track Windows and Linux server patch management.
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability and performance.
• Support basic network troubleshooting for LAN/WAN, switches, routers and connectivity issues.
• Maintain operational documentation, incident records and SLA compliance.
• Take part in shift-based operations and on-call support.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Available in Qatar with a transferable visa.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field; certifications such as Microsoft, Linux, CCNA or ITIL are an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, SCOM and Nagios.
• Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing and switching).
• Patch management tools such as SCCM, OPManager or BMC.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, good communication and customer support skills.
