Operation Helper (With Forklift & Bobcat Licenses)

About the role

The Operation Helper supports daily plant operations, assisting control‑room operators and the maintenance team. The role involves operating basic equipment, performing field checks, and ensuring safe, efficient plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist control‑room operators with start‑up, shutdown and normal running of plant units.
• Operate pumps, valves and filters under supervision.
• Carry out field checks on RO trains, intake and post‑treatment systems.
• Perform routine patrols, inspect pumps, pipelines, tanks, filters and chemical dosing systems, and report any leaks or abnormal conditions.
• Take operational readings (flow, pressure, level, conductivity, pH) and record data in log sheets or digital systems.
• Collect water samples for laboratory analysis and assist with basic on‑site testing.
• Support maintenance team during repairs, cleaning equipment, filters and work areas, and help with minor mechanical tasks.
• Assist in safe handling, dilution, storage and labeling of treatment chemicals.
• Maintain cleanliness of plant and operational areas and support waste‑management activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience operating a forklift with a valid licence.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating a Bobcat or skid‑steer with a valid licence.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use required PPE.

Required skills

• Licensed forklift operation and material handling.
• Licensed Bobcat/skid‑steer operation.
