Operations Director

About the role

Egis is seeking an Operations Director to lead the planning, governance and delivery of its projects worldwide. The role combines strategic leadership, business development and operational oversight to ensure technical excellence and financial profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Oversee company operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance and innovation.
• Identify new business opportunities, lead proposal development and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of consultancy and project management contracts, monitoring budgets, timelines and resources.
• Recruit, mentor and manage design and project management teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Prepare and achieve budgeted turnover, gross margin and net profit targets; optimise operational costs.
• Maintain adherence to design standards, building codes and sustainability practices, implementing quality assurance processes.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in engineering, construction or consultancy environments.
• Strong client relationship management and business development capabilities.
• Deep understanding of design processes, project management and consultancy services.
• Ability to drive profitability, quality delivery and company growth in line with strategic vision.
