Operations Manager

About the role

Snoonu, Qatar’s home‑grown super‑app, is scaling its real‑time mobility and on‑demand services. The Operations Manager will translate business requirements into efficient operating processes across dispatch, routing, fleet coordination and live service execution, ensuring reliability, speed and customer trust as the platform grows.

Key responsibilities

• Run day‑to‑day mobility operations, including dispatch, trip fulfilment and routing efficiency.
• Manage driver and fleet readiness, onboarding and performance to maintain consistent service coverage.
• Optimize real‑time matching of demand and supply across zones, time windows and peak periods.
• Own core mobility KPIs such as pickup time, trip completion, cancellations, ETA accuracy and utilisation.
• Monitor demand patterns and position drivers appropriately for peak periods.
• Resolve live operational issues including trip failures, delays, driver no‑shows and system disruptions.
• Define and enforce SOPs for the trip lifecycle, driver behaviour, dispatch rules and exception handling.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, Data and Commercial teams to align systems and operations.
• Use operational data to identify gaps and continuously improve speed, reliability and efficiency.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in operations, mobility, ride‑hailing, logistics or real‑time dispatch environments.
• Hands‑on experience managing driver/fleet operations or supply‑side management.
• Strong understanding of dispatch systems, routing and GPS‑based operations.
• Ability to thrive in high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environments.
• Analytical mindset with experience using real‑time operational data for decision‑making.
• Experience in Qatar or GCC mobility/logistics ecosystems is a plus.
