Operations Supervisor – Manufacturing

About the role

The Operations Supervisor will lead daily manufacturing activities at Qatar Steel, ensuring smooth execution and high productivity. This role involves coordinating the workforce, monitoring performance, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities and workforce.
• Allocate duties, monitor performance, and ensure tools and materials are available.
• Track work progress, productivity, and quality against company standards.
• Identify operational problems, implement corrective actions, and maintain daily records.
• Oversee shift production in melt shop or rolling mill to meet output targets.
• Enforce occupational health and safety regulations and conduct safety toolbox meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations management.
• Proven ability to supervise shift production and manage workforce schedules.
• Experience diagnosing bottlenecks and coordinating with maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of OHS regulations and safety practices.
