Ophthalmology Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Consultant to join our medical team, delivering high‑quality eye care and surgical services in accordance with our institutional policies and international accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat ophthalmic diseases, providing comprehensive patient care in line with current medical guidelines.
• Perform ophthalmic surgeries within approved clinical privileges, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Admit patients, order and interpret investigations, and document findings accurately.
• Prepare patients for procedures, execute surgeries, and follow up on inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Adjust treatment plans based on investigation results and clinical progress.
• Maintain compliance with CBAHI and JCI standards and institutional policies.

Required profile

• FRCS or MD in Ophthalmology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of post‑qualification experience in ophthalmology.
• Full, unrestricted medical license in the country of practice.
• Familiarity with CBAHI and JCI accreditation standards.
