OT Cybersecurity Specialist / SME

About the role

Command Post is looking for an OT Cybersecurity Specialist / Subject Matter Expert for a full-time, on-site, client-facing role in Doha, Qatar. The consultant works closely with clients to turn industry standards, strategic objectives and governance requirements into practical, sustainable operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate secure OT/ICS/SCADA architectures aligned with ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF, the Purdue Model and Zero Trust principles.
• Conduct OT security assessments, vulnerability reviews, risk modeling and remediation planning for industrial assets such as PLCs, RTUs and control systems.
• Develop secure network segmentation, zones and conduits, and remote-access architectures for critical infrastructure.
• Implement and integrate OT security solutions and asset visibility/monitoring platforms, including Nozomi Networks and Claroty.
• Collaborate with Engineering, SOC and IT/OT teams to embed security into system design and operations.
• Lead OT cybersecurity workshops, develop security roadmaps, operating models and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Support incident-response planning, cyber-resilience assessments and red/blue team exercises.
• Act as an SME for industrial cybersecurity engagements, support solution engineering and presales, and help build OT security services and offerings.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in OT Security, ICS, SCADA, Industrial Networks and Critical Infrastructure Security.
• Hands-on experience with industrial cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessments, security architecture and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements, deliver complex OT security projects and give strategic cybersecurity guidance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and technical leadership skills.
