Permit and Authority Approval Coordinator

About the role

Responsible for coordinating and obtaining DC1/DC2 approvals, Building Completion Certificates (BCC), authority inspections and project completion clearances. Acts as the key coordination point between L&T project teams and relevant Qatar authorities, ensuring timely submissions, comment resolution, inspections and approvals to support project completion and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate DC1, DC2, BCC, NOCs, permits, inspections and other statutory approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and compile technical reports, drawings, certificates and supporting documents for authority submissions.
• Submit and follow up on BCC applications through design consultants and ensure timely closure.
• Liaise with MOI/QCDD, Ministry of Municipality, Ashghal, KAHRAMAA, QatarEnergy, Qatar Rail and other relevant authorities.
• Maintain trackers for approvals, NOCs, DC1/DC2, BCC and inspections, monitoring status and escalations.
• Coordinate closure of punch points, statutory observations and authority requirements prior to handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Qatar infrastructure, EPC, utilities, power transmission or substation projects.
• Hands‑on experience with Qatar authority approvals, permitting, NOCs, DC1/DC2 and BCC processes.
• Fluency in Arabic and English with strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
