Post Fixture Operator

About the role

The Post Fixture Operator is responsible for managing post‑fixture operations and commercial coordination for tanker vessels. The role ensures that charter‑party requirements are executed smoothly from the pre‑fixture stage through to voyage completion, supporting both operational and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with charterers, ship masters, agents and P&I clubs to align on charter‑party terms.
• Arrange bunkering, port funds, surveys and obtain all necessary vessel clearances.
• Monitor cargo operations, vessel performance, laytime and hire calculations.
• Prepare invoices, voyage documentation and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Support commercial activities including contract preparation, tender participation, claims handling and dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Experience in post‑fixture vessel operations, preferably with tanker vessels.
• Strong understanding of charter‑party clauses and maritime commercial processes.
• Ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders such as charterers, agents and P&I clubs.
• Attention to detail for documentation, invoicing and performance monitoring.
