Procurement Manager – Operations Division

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the procurement function for the Society Sport Center’s Operations Division, ensuring the sourcing of high‑quality goods and services that align with the group’s premium brand standards and support its growth as Qatar’s leading multi‑brand wellness and lifestyle provider.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a group‑wide procurement strategy and roadmap covering categories such as fitness equipment, F&B, spa & wellness, facilities, IT and professional services.
• Identify cost‑optimisation opportunities, consolidate spend and improve total cost of ownership across all categories.
• Lead competitive sourcing processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), qualify and onboard suppliers that meet quality, sustainability and compliance criteria.
• Maintain a curated supplier register for Qatar and GCC markets and manage the full supplier lifecycle with clear KPIs and SLAs.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment conditions and contractual obligations; maintain an up‑to‑date contract library.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal and Operations to monitor spend against budgets and contracts, escalating variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Support facilities, maintenance and capital projects procurement, ensuring timely delivery of required products and services.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement activities within a multi‑brand or multi‑location environment.
• Strong ability to develop strategic procurement plans and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, performance monitoring and contract administration.
• Excellent negotiation skills and familiarity with budgeting and spend analysis.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Finance, IT and external contractors.
