Procurement Officer – Corporate Gifts & Promotional Items

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to lead the sourcing and procurement of corporate gifts, promotional items, customized products and packaging for our clients in Qatar. The role involves managing the full procurement cycle from receiving requirements to delivering finished goods that meet quality, budget and deadline expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review client specifications from Sales/Project teams, including branding, quantities, budget and delivery dates.
• Identify and qualify new local and international suppliers, obtain multiple quotations and prepare comparison sheets for internal approval.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities and customization details with vendors.
• Coordinate samples, mock‑ups, branding methods and packaging before placing orders.
• Issue purchase orders, track supplier performance, follow up production and delivery schedules, and resolve any quality or delivery issues.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database, product catalogs and sourcing records, and source internationally when required.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in corporate gifts, promotional items, printing or events.
• Strong knowledge of the Qatar and UAE supplier markets and experience sourcing from China, Turkey, Europe or other major markets.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor‑management abilities, with a solution‑oriented, resourceful mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple urgent RFQs and ensure confidentiality of client information.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP or procurement management systems.
