Kitchen Dispatch Lead

About the role

As a Cloud Kitchen Dispatch Support Lead, you will coordinate the timely dispatch of food orders from Talabat’s operating brands to riders, working closely with kitchen staff, delivery riders, suppliers and customer service to ensure a seamless process.

Key responsibilities

• Complete opening, mid‑shift and closing checklists, ensuring all tech and internet connections function throughout the shift.
• Supervise and train the dispatch team, providing support as needed.
• Manage order dispatch from partners to riders, resolving any issues that arise with customers, riders or the service centre.
• Conduct regular food safety checks, audits and inspections, and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• Maintain kitchen performance metrics such as FIR, AVTC, Vendor Delay and Vendor Net Fail.
• Report problems to kitchen managers and rectify issues during the shift.
• Ensure visitors complete health questionnaires before entering the kitchen premises.
• Guarantee that all dispatch activities follow company policies, industry regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in dispatch operations or logistics.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Strong data gathering and analysis abilities.
