Project Manager – Grid Software (Doha, Qatar)

About the role

Join Siemens' Smart Infrastructure Grid Software team as a Project Manager to drive end‑to‑end delivery of grid software projects. You will be involved from sales engagement through technical design, commercial and legal aspects, ensuring projects are delivered on scope, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, budget and report on project progress while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Manage internal engineering resources and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with Siemens' pm@SIEMENS guidelines.
• Identify risks and opportunities, drive variation orders and change management, and support regional delivery teams.
• Participate in sales activities, analyse RFQs, prepare technical solutions, cost estimates and commercial offers.
• Coordinate resources across the Middle East region to meet productivity goals and support product lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience in software development, integration and Smart Grid solutions.
• Proven experience with utilities and Smart Grid markets (grid control, simulation, smart metering, grid edge, consulting).
• PMP or pm@SIEMENS certification is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple cross‑border projects under pressure.
