Project Manager – Oil & Gas (EPC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major Oil & Gas EPC projects in Qatar, overseeing the full project lifecycle from award to handover. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to work with diverse international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead EPC projects from award to final handover, managing engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Plan project work, budgets, timelines, and resources while ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Manage contracts, including Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) and reimbursable models, and coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and project teams.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation actions to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry codes, and standards, and provide regular progress updates to senior leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 20+ years of overall Oil & Gas project execution experience, with at least 5–7 years as a Project Manager.
• Proven experience in downstream or midstream EPC projects in the Middle East, especially pipeline projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts (LSTK and reimbursable) and regional EPC practices.
• Experience working with international clients and multicultural teams.
