Project Manager – Oil & Gas Infrastructure (GCC)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of oil & gas and energy building and infrastructure projects across the GCC, with a focus on Qatar. The role involves overseeing all phases of large‑scale EPC construction programmes, ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of oil & gas / energy building and infrastructure projects, from planning through close‑out.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource allocation and risk registers.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and site teams, and maintain daily site operations.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify and resolve technical, operational and commercial issues.
• Review contracts, manage variations, claims and risk mitigation to protect contractor interests.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company standards and project specifications.
• Prepare and present regular project reports, progress updates and commercial assessments.
• Support tendering, procurement and project close‑out activities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction/project management, preferably in oil & gas or energy facilities.
• Proven experience delivering large EPC projects in the GCC, especially Qatar.
• Strong technical, commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments.
