Project QA/QC Manager – EPC Oil & Gas

About the role

The Project QA/QC Manager will lead quality assurance and control activities for large‑scale EPC oil & gas projects in Doha. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work complies with international standards, client specifications, and the project’s quality management system.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and related procedures.
• Lead a multidisciplinary QA/QC team, coordinating with clients, contractors and third‑party inspectors.
• Conduct quality audits, manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective‑preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 QMS and EPC quality processes.
• Oversee welding inspection, NDT, fabrication, piping, pressure vessels and mechanical quality control.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in EPC oil & gas projects, with at least 5 years in a QA/QC Manager or Project Quality Manager role.
• Proven experience on major onshore and offshore projects.
• Mandatory certifications: CSWIP 3.2.2 Senior Welding Inspector, ASNT/PCN Level II (RT, UT, MT/MPI, PT), ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
