Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer (Civil)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer with a civil engineering background to lead QA/QC activities on oil & gas, petrochemical or industrial maintenance projects. The role involves ensuring that all civil works meet international quality standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor QA/QC plans for civil engineering projects.
• Prepare, review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITP), method statements and QA/QC reports.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and generate regular quality performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of overall experience in civil engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical plant or industrial maintenance environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and inspection methods.
• Experience with preparation and review of ITPs, method statements and QA/QC reports.
• Familiarity with international civil works standards and specifications.
