Recreation Experience Expert (Lifeguard)

About the role

The Recreation Experience Expert (Lifeguard) serves as the primary point of contact for all guest recreation activities at the resort. You will inform guests about pool, beach, fitness, and entertainment facilities, encourage participation, and ensure a safe, enjoyable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information on recreation facilities and promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
• Register, schedule, and supervise guests in pool, beach, fitness, and game‑room activities.
• Enforce safety rules, monitor activities, and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Assist injured guests until emergency services arrive and report incidents to management.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process equipment rentals, and support private events.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• CPR certification, First Aid certification, and training on recreation equipment.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a hospitality environment.
