Recruitment Specialist – Flight Deck Crew (Qatari Nationals)

About the role

Qatar Airways Flight Operations – Flight Deck Crew Recruitment & Selection team is looking for a Recruitment Specialist based in Doha. The role ensures the right pilots and crew are hired at the right time to support business plans, providing expert advice and data-driven recommendations to hiring managers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an assigned number of open positions while managing interfaces with the Flight Deck Pilot Recruitment team to meet time‑to‑hire and cost‑to‑hire standards.
• Maintain close relationships with hiring managers, coach them through the recruitment process, and provide assistance to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Present a pipeline of candidates, assessing competence, cultural fit and motivation to meet the annual resourcing plan.
• Support, organise and advertise recruitment campaigns, conduct interviews and follow best practices.
• Perform regular audits of candidate data, track databases and weekly reports to ensure procedural adherence.
• Manage communication with candidates via the Applicant Tracking System and email, ensuring information reflects current policies.
• Champion compliance with Qatar Airways group policies throughout the recruitment lifecycle and maintain accurate records in key systems.

Required profile

• Relevant university qualification, minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous recruitment experience, preferably high‑volume hiring.
• Proven track record of proactively sourcing a significant number of hires.
• Ability to assess candidate competence, cultural fit and motivation.
• Qatari national status (as indicated by the posting).

Required skills

• Proficient use of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for candidate management and communication.
