Recruitment Specialist – Flight Deck (Qatari Nationals Only)

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join the Flight Operations – Flight Deck Crew Recruitment & Selection team in Doha. The role ensures the Flight Deck has the right talent at the right time, supporting business plans through expert advice and data‑driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an assigned number of open positions, managing interfaces with the Flight Deck Pilot Recruitment team to meet time‑to‑hire, cost‑to‑hire and quality standards.
• Maintain close relationships with hiring managers, coach them through the recruitment process, and provide assistance to ensure compliance with departmental procedures.
• Present a pipeline of candidates by assessing competence, cultural fit and motivation against the annual resourcing plan.
• Organise and advertise recruitment campaigns, conduct interviews, and audit candidate data in the ATS to ensure procedural adherence.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous volume recruitment experience with a proven track record of sourcing large numbers of hires.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong relationships with managers and candidates.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Experience using Oracle and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
