Reporting Manager – Record to Report

About the role

The Reporting Manager – Record to Report ensures that financial accounting and reporting activities for the QR Group are executed in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the Group’s accounting frameworks. The role supports strategic decision‑making, oversees external audit delivery, and drives finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic insights to management by researching IFRS updates and QR Group policies.
• Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements and monthly/annual financial reports for the Group and its entities.
• Manage timely completion of external audits and coordinate interim and year‑end audit requirements.
• Develop white papers on IFRS changes and assess their impact on Group entities.
• Support month‑end closing activities in accordance with the established timetable.
• Measure performance against KPIs, review them regularly, and recommend adjustments.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects by offering accounting advice and process knowledge.
• Educate finance staff on applying IFRS/IAS and industry best practices.
• Lead, supervise, recruit, train, and develop the finance team, ensuring succession planning and national talent development.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS and airline/group accounting standards.
• Proven experience in managing external audit processes and month‑end closures.
• Ability to develop technical documentation and white papers on accounting standards.
• Leadership experience with a focus on team development and talent coaching.
• Commitment to continuous personal development and awareness of market trends.
