Research and Policy Advocacy Analyst

About the role

The Analyst supports the Research and Policy Advocacy department by collecting and organizing data, developing economic models and producing research and policy advocacy reports and analyses. The role evaluates industries, sectors and countries to identify investment attraction opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Public Policy, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related quantitative field.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with 1-2 years' experience in research, economic analysis, consulting, strategy or market intelligence are welcome.
• Local hires only; candidates must be currently based in Qatar.

Required skills

• Market, economic, sector or policy research and data collection, organization and analysis from multiple sources.
• Preparation of reports, presentations, insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Experience with economic, financial, business or industry data analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: exposure to dashboards, business intelligence tools, databases, CRM systems or research platforms.
