Restaurant Hostess

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and well‑presented Restaurant Hostess to join our team. The hostess will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, bookings, and walk‑in guests.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Maintain an accurate and organized seating plan.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate with the restaurant and service team to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Monitor table availability and waiting times.
• Handle guest requests and concerns with courtesy and professionalism.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Assist with other front‑of‑house duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, or in a customer‑service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic speaker is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
