Restaurant Manager – Fine Dining

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced Restaurant Manager to run the day-to-day operations of a premium fine-dining restaurant in Doha. The role suits a hands-on hospitality professional with a strong background in Michelin-level dining, able to keep service standards exceptional while running the restaurant efficiently and profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and lead, supervise and motivate the front-of-house team
• Maintain Michelin-level standards of hospitality, presentation, service and attention to detail
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, health and safety and food hygiene requirements
• Manage opening and closing procedures, reservations, table allocation, guest flow and capacity
• Handle guest feedback, special requests and service recovery; build relationships with regular and VIP guests
• Conduct team briefings, training, coaching and performance evaluations
• Coordinate with kitchen and back-of-house teams, monitor staffing and scheduling, and support inventory, stock control and ordering
• Monitor sales, revenue, expenses and KPIs, and assist in meeting revenue and profitability targets
• Prepare operational reports for senior management and support special events, private dining and VIP functions

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership position
• Previous experience in a Michelin-starred, Michelin-recognised or high-end fine-dining restaurant is required
• Experience in luxury hospitality, premium restaurants or internationally recognised dining is highly preferred
• Willingness to relocate to Qatar and availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of fine-dining service standards and operations
• Proven experience managing and developing front-of-house teams
• Understanding of restaurant financials, cost control, sales and profitability
• Excellent guest relations, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
