Restaurant Supervisor - Koo Madame

About the role

Rosewood Doha is hiring a Restaurant Supervisor for its Koo Madame restaurant. The role is hands-on and present in the restaurant at all times, especially during busy periods, overseeing the team, maintaining brand standards and delivering a high standard of guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure associates follow the brand promise, the Order of Service and SOPs, and that opening, service and closing procedures are followed.
• Take and process orders, serve and clear food, relay tables and troubleshoot; respond to menu and drinks queries.
• Oversee and guide team leaders and waiters, mentor associates and monitor training needs.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness, ensure tables are laid correctly and that stations have clean cutlery and service ware.
• Provide accurate discount and void reconciliations and follow correct cashing-up and closing procedures.
• Coordinate staffing with the Assistant Manager and Manager, ensure MEP requirements are met before service and keep the environment clean and tidy.
• Build guest profiles, resolve complaints quickly and promote a regular customer base.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (preferred).
• Full working knowledge of the restaurant floor plan, daily hotel occupancy and arrivals/departures, and of the surrounding area and events in Doha.
• Knowledge of Micros, Open Table and other required systems.
• Ability to work as a hands-on supervisor, with punctuality, attention to detail and a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
