Safety / HSE Officer – 3-Month Project

About the role

An experienced Safety / HSE Officer is urgently needed for a 3-month Facilities Management project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The post holder supports HSE activities, carries out safety inspections, prepares reports and keeps effective communication on site. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular HSE inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices
• Monitor compliance with site safety procedures, HSE requirements and applicable standards
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and incident-related HSE reports
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Run toolbox talks, safety briefings and awareness sessions
• Monitor the proper use of PPE and safe working practices
• Support incident and near-miss investigations and follow up on corrective actions
• Maintain HSE records, inspection checklists and related documentation
• Coordinate with site management and workers on safety concerns and promote a strong safety culture

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Facilities Management, Camp or Construction environments
• Diploma or degree in HSE or a related field; NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred
• Good English and Hindi communication skills preferred for Indian and Nepalese candidates
