Safety Manager

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a qualified and dedicated Safety Manager to lead, manage, and coordinate all aspects of its health and safety programmes in Doha. The role will drive safety excellence, foster a proactive safety culture, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures tailored to organisational needs.
• Formulate advanced technical concepts for risk assessment, hazard control and safety protocols, staying current with industry best practices.
• Lead and coordinate a specialised safety team, ensuring the highest safety standards across all operations.
• Conduct regular site audits, inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and verify regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance through data analysis and incident investigations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (approximately 14 years) in health and safety management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage safety programmes in complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety legislation, regulations and industry standards.
