Safety Officer – Fire Protection Systems

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to support fire protection system maintenance projects across industrial and oil & gas facilities. The role ensures that all maintenance activities are performed safely, complying with client HSE requirements, Permit to Work procedures, and relevant safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce HSE compliance during fire protection maintenance work.
• Verify that all tasks follow approved PTW, risk assessments, method statements, and company HSE procedures.
• Conduct routine HSE inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks.
• Participate in incident reporting, investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective‑action recommendations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and client representatives to ensure safe execution of work.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in construction, maintenance, or oil & gas industrial projects.
• At least 3 years supporting fire protection system installation, inspection, testing, or maintenance.
• Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering or a B.E./B.Tech. in any engineering discipline.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) mandatory; IOSH Managing Safely or IOSH Working Safely preferred.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certification and fire‑warden training.
