Sales Associate - Paints & Waterproofing

About the role

Asian Paints Doha Trading is looking for a dedicated, customer-oriented Sales Associate to work with painting contractors, building contractors, décor companies, dealer networks, exhibition companies, garages, PMCs and FMCs. The role is based in Doha, Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets for products and services, meet sales projections and generate ongoing sales opportunities.
• Maintain a deep understanding of customers' operations and their technical needs.
• Handle collections, technical guidance, site assistance and documentation closures.
• Record and update all pipeline activities in the CRM (Skyhawk).
• Identify and register painting contractors linked to potential villas and buildings, and follow up with existing and new competition contractors for leads and referrals.
• Build and maintain a customer master list of competition contractors, PMCs and FMCs in the assigned territory, and convert their business.
• Register and specify the AP Berger brand in PMCs and villa consultants, and deliver paints, waterproofing and floor coating solutions on time.
• Present the full product portfolio, keep clients informed about new products and technical enablers, and ensure 100% product training for contractors in the territory.
• Organize on-shop sales meetings and events, and ensure 70% of influencers achieve their set targets.
• Manage relationships with key clients and pre-sales services for influencers, and ensure contractor satisfaction through excellent sales service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or sales preferred; MBA preferred.
• 2-3 years of sales experience in a similar role in the construction chemicals and paints industry, preferably in Doha, Qatar.
• Fluency in English and Hindi (speaking and writing); Arabic and Bengali are an added advantage.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM software and the MS Office suite.
• Sales and account management experience, prospecting and lead generation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
