Sales Engineer – Mechanical Products & Pumps

About the role

The Energy & Industrial Markets Division of Mannai Corporation seeks a Sales Engineer to drive sales and business development of pumps and mechanical products within Qatar’s project market.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell pumps and mechanical products across targeted projects and market segments.
• Identify new business opportunities by monitoring upcoming projects, market trends and customer requirements.
• Review BOQs, drawings, specifications and tender documents to propose technically compliant and commercially competitive solutions.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, technical and commercial proposals, tender submissions and material submittals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, dealers, clients and business partners.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, finance, credit management and technical teams to ensure timely order execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in technical or project sales involving pumps, water systems or related mechanical products.
• Strong understanding of Qatar’s construction, infrastructure, industrial and MEP markets (preferred).
• Fluent in English; Arabic and a valid Qatar driving licence are advantages.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of pump selection and sizing.
• Experience with BOQs, project specifications and tendering processes.
• Ability to prepare quotations, cost estimates and material submittals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
