About the role
DHL Global Forwarding is looking for a Sales Specialist to join its team in Doha, Qatar. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new customers and retaining existing accounts within a defined geographic region or market segment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and administer field sales plans, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Achieve sales targets and revenue growth for assigned region or product line.
- Secure new business and expand core business through repeat orders.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues and promote DHL products and services.
- Identify prospective customers, build relationships and generate future sales.
- Prepare and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals and product demonstrations.
- Close deals by matching customer needs with DHL solutions.
- Introduce products, promotions and marketing campaigns to customers.
- Coordinate with internal sales, marketing, operations and service teams to enhance customer retention.
- Support customers post‑sale to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- More than 4 years of experience in sales, preferably in freight, logistics or transportation.
- Proven ability to develop sales plans and achieve revenue targets.
- Strong customer‑facing and relationship‑building skills.
