Scaffolding Manager – Brownfield Operations

About the role

The Scaffolding Manager will lead all scaffolding activities for brownfield operations, maintenance, shutdowns and turnarounds. You will ensure safe, efficient and timely execution while complying with company standards, client requirements and statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise scaffolding erection, modification, inspection and dismantling for brownfield projects.
• Review project drawings, schedules and requirements to determine scaffolding needs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Construction and HSE departments to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure availability of manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and enforce compliance with safety standards and client specifications.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings and maintain HSE documentation.
• Maintain records of inspections, permits, manpower allocation and material utilization.
• Support emergency maintenance, shutdowns and turnarounds as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10‑15+ years of experience in brownfield operations & maintenance scaffolding.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple activities under tight schedules.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of scaffolding standards and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with permit‑to‑work systems and risk assessment procedures.
• Proficiency in planning and reporting for industrial scaffolding projects.
