Secondary ICT Teacher (Information Technology & Computing)

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Al Khor is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary ICT Teacher to deliver the UK National Curriculum in Information Technology & Computing. You will inspire students aged 11‑18, preparing them for IGCSE and AS‑A Level examinations while fostering a supportive, energetic learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess a fit‑for‑purpose IT & Computing curriculum aligned with UK standards.
• Develop schemes of work that integrate English language and numeracy support.
• Map personalised learning pathways to help all students achieve their targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental development.
• Engage parents and the wider Nord Anglia community to promote student success.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant ICT or Computer Science discipline.
• Recognised teaching qualification obtained through a face‑to‑face programme.
• Considerable experience teaching secondary ICT/Computing.
• Ability to meet Qatar visa requirements.
• Strong motivation, communication skills and openness to feedback.
