Security Operations Analyst – CSOC

About the role

The Security Operations Analyst will join the CSOC team at Commercial Bank to monitor, detect, analyze and respond to cybersecurity incidents. This role safeguards the bank’s digital assets and ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security events, alerts and CSOC dashboards to identify anomalous patterns.
• Respond promptly to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and manage notifications.
• Gather actionable intelligence on threats and prepare daily, weekly and monthly KRI reports.
• Create and fine‑tune use‑cases and alerts within the CSOC monitoring environment.
• Perform health checks on CSOC tools, ensuring logs are collected from all hosts.
• Support and configure security controls such as SIEM, anti‑virus, network security devices, PAM, DLP and vulnerability management solutions.
• Prepare security awareness communications and participate in cyber drills and CSOC exercises.
• Identify critical items for senior management, conduct exception reviews and assist with audit remediation.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in information security.
• Ability to analyse incidents, produce clear reports and communicate findings.
• Experience working under direction from InfoSec management and following established playbooks.
