Senior Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

A leading organization in Qatar is looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Specialist to enhance its cyber resilience, security governance, and technology risk management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments, governance, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Review and secure on‑premises, cloud, and digital technology solutions.
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, threat management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage and optimise security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, PAM, DLP, email security and cloud security platforms.
• Coordinate penetration testing, security audits and third‑party security assessments.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance to business stakeholders and support secure delivery of technology projects.
• Prepare risk, compliance and security assurance reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, GIAC, GCIH, ECIH or Security+ are highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.
