Senior Digital Banking Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Banking Manager to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of digital banking platforms, including mobile and online channels, for a fast‑growing financial institution in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design, configuration and launch of digital banking platforms, mobile apps and online portals.
• Manage integrations with core banking systems and third‑party FinTech APIs such as account opening, payment gateways and KYC/AML solutions.
• Define technical roadmaps, milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery plans for digital projects.
• Oversee vendors, technology partners and external consultants while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with financial regulators to ensure platforms meet all regulatory requirements, including data residency, cybersecurity, consumer protection, AML/KYC and risk controls.
• Organise security assessments, penetration testing, audits and remediation activities.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in digital banking, platform development or technical project management.
• Proven track record of launching or setting up a digital/neo‑banking or mobile banking platform from scratch.
• Strong understanding of core banking APIs, cloud architecture, micro‑services and secure digital onboarding.
• Experience coordinating with regional financial regulators and embedding risk and compliance controls into the SDLC.
• Arabic communication skills are mandatory; English is an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
