Senior Digital & Social Media Management Specialist

About the role
We are looking for a senior professional to lead and support our digital, social media and communication initiatives. The role will enhance the organization’s online presence, ensure consistent brand messaging and drive engagement across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement digital and social media strategies aligned with communication objectives.
- Conduct platform‑specific planning for LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other channels based on audience insights.
- Define measurable goals (reach, engagement, click‑through rates, conversions) and set appropriate KPIs.
- Create, schedule and manage original content (text, graphics, video) while maintaining consistent tone and visual identity.
- Maintain a content calendar to coordinate campaigns, events and special initiatives.
- Monitor and respond to messages, comments and mentions across all platforms.
- Plan and execute digital campaigns for awareness, event promotion or other objectives.
- Coordinate with designers and videographers to produce engaging multimedia assets.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders, followers and influencers to grow digital presence.
- Provide performance reports with insights and recommendations for optimisation.
- Conduct social listening and sentiment analysis to inform content strategy.
- Support basic website content management, uploading posts, press releases and ensuring accessibility and brand alignment.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of senior‑level experience in digital communications, social media management or a similar role, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Strong writing skills with attention to tone, clarity and platform‑specific character limits.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity and ability to adapt to emerging digital trends.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple digital initiatives simultaneously.
Required skills
- Proficiency with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
- Experience using Content Management Systems.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools for campaign execution and analytics.
- Website content management and basic HTML editing.
- Social listening and sentiment analysis techniques.
