Senior Electrical Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Electrical Supervisor will lead the asset electrical team in delivering safe corrective and preventive maintenance, installations, and support during pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases. The role ensures reliability and availability of electrical equipment while complying with QatarEnergy LNG policies and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all electrical maintenance activities across main complexes and remote platforms, ensuring compliance with safe work practices and company procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks, enforce Job Safety Analyses, and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and near‑misses.
• Lead troubleshooting and repair of critical equipment, compile field data, and recommend corrective actions.
• Review work notifications, work orders, and ensure accurate maintenance history in SAP/CMMS.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to secure tools, test equipment, and seamless execution of maintenance tasks.
• Support project phases, including FEED, HAZOPS, risk assessments, commissioning, and warranty activities.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma in engineering (mechanical, instrument or electrical).
• Minimum 8 years of diversified experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using SAP and CMMS systems.
