Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the business with financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting. The role focuses on creating added value to improve decision‑making and streamline processes within Qatar Airways Group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop financial models and conduct quantitative analysis for revenue, cost and profitability.
• Prepare and present root‑cause variance analyses on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with finance stakeholders.
• Conduct ad‑hoc revenue and cost analyses for senior management.
• Review annual budget submissions and monitor spend against cost‑of‑sale targets.
• Evaluate business case proposals, including investment and insourcing decisions.
• Ensure financial reporting aligns with corporate definitions and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent higher qualification with 5 years.
• Experience as a financial analyst, preferably in the airline industry.
• Excellent communication, presentation and English language skills.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently and handling multiple priorities.
