Senior Legal Specialist – Real Estate (Qatar)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Specialist focused on real estate to join our team in Qatar. The role involves managing all legal aspects of property transactions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, memorandums of understanding and other contracts.
• Provide legal advice on real‑estate transactions, property development projects and investment matters.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari laws, regulations and governmental requirements.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies and external counsel as needed.
• Conduct due‑diligence for property acquisitions, disposals and development initiatives.
• Support litigation, arbitration and other dispute‑resolution processes.
• Maintain accurate legal documentation and records.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); a Master’s (LLM) is an advantage.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in real‑estate law, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
• Proven track record handling property‑related legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, property law and regulatory frameworks.

Required skills

• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent legal drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
