Senior Media Manager (Financial Services)

About the role

The Group Securities seeks a Senior Media Manager to shape and execute its media strategy, strengthen its institutional presence in the financial sector, and ensure consistent corporate messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual media strategy, monitor its execution and measure impact.
• Craft key media messages and ensure consistency across traditional and digital platforms.
• Advise senior leadership on media issues, public appearances and regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with newspapers, TV channels, digital platforms and specialised financial media.
• Represent the Group at conferences, events and media interviews, and manage potential media crises.
• Oversee creation of specialised financial market content, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Lead the production of podcasts and specialised programmes, defining themes, guests and coordinating with entities such as the Qatar Stock Exchange.
• Manage the Group’s digital media presence, track modern media trends and align messaging across platforms.
• Lead the media team, allocate tasks, monitor performance and develop capabilities.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance and other departments to guarantee message accuracy and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in media, communication, public relations, business administration or related field; master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in media, corporate communication or economic journalism.
• Proven experience in the financial, investment or banking sector is highly valued.
