Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator to own and operate the certified Microsoft foundation that underpins our ADAPT platform. You will ensure the identity, productivity, security and compliance estate is clean, current and audit‑ready, following Microsoft best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the tenant‑to‑tenant migration of mail, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups into a single enterprise tenant, defining migration waves, runbooks, rollback plans and cut‑over procedures.
• Consolidate identity in Microsoft Entra ID, applying Conditional Access, MFA and least‑privilege access, and manage domain cut‑over.
• Preserve CSP/ISV/Reseller licensing arrangements and work directly with Microsoft Partner support.
• Provide clear status updates, risk assessments and stage‑gate sign‑offs for leadership.
• Administer the consolidated Microsoft 365 estate, covering tenant, identity, endpoints, security (Defender) and compliance (Purview).
• Design segregated access models for ventures and joint ventures to keep data isolated.
• Maintain licensing hygiene, cost control, renewals and continuous audit readiness.
• Assist ADAPT’s sell‑side suppliers in assessing, closing gaps and onboarding onto secure Microsoft foundations.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience managing enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
• Hands‑on experience with tenant‑to‑tenant migrations and identity consolidation.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft security, compliance and licensing models.
• Ability to work with external partners and communicate technical status to business leaders.
