Senior Network Planner – Supplier Sourcing Program (OCI)

About the role

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Network Planner to lead supplier sourcing initiatives that expand and scale our next‑generation cloud services. You will work within the Global Network Planning Group, shaping network infrastructure, subsea connectivity, and data‑center strategies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development for network growth by evaluating and selecting optimal data‑center partners and locations.
• Negotiate connectivity agreements and commercial deals that meet technical requirements and support OCI’s expansion.
• Develop total‑cost‑of‑ownership (TCO) models for new and existing market opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align long‑term subsea strategy with business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between OCI technical teams and subsea providers’ operations teams.
• Represent OCI to senior technical leaders and executives at partner companies.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with a diverse portfolio of subsea partners and data‑center operators.
• Negotiate favorable terms, SLAs, and pricing structures aligned with OCI’s growth plans.
• Monitor industry trends, mergers, acquisitions, and new entrants in the subsea space.
• Document decisions and recommendations for internal technical leadership and senior executives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in network planning, vendor management, and subsea connectivity.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop financial models (TCO).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on long‑term infrastructure growth.
