Senior Planner – Building & Hospital Projects

About the role

The Senior Planner will develop, monitor and control schedules for major building and healthcare projects in Qatar. You will work closely with project management, engineering, procurement and site teams to ensure timely delivery in line with contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, including WBS, resource-loaded timelines, manpower histograms and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Monitor progress, produce weekly/monthly reports, analyse delays, critical‑path activities and develop recovery plans.
• Coordinate planning matters with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and clients, and support tender planning and productivity analysis.
• Track long‑lead items, support claims, EOT documentation and delay analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 12 years of construction planning experience, preferably on large‑scale building and hospital projects in GCC.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder coordination skills.
