About the role
A leading Oil & Gas service company in Qatar is hiring a Senior QA Engineer through Wings Technical Services. The position is full time in Doha and calls for 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, including manual and automation testing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual and automated test strategies.
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing.
- Run performance and load testing with JMeter.
- Test APIs with Postman and REST-assured.
- Write and run SQL queries to validate databases.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Find, document and track defects until resolved.
- Work with developers, DevOps and project teams to fix quality issues.
Required profile
- 5+ years of QA experience, including manual and automation testing.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or oilfield software testing is highly valued.
Required skills
- Python and Selenium
- API automation and SQL
- JMeter and Postman
- CI/CD tools
